Denver might be known for its stunning mountains and outdoor adventures, but its vibrant food scene, particularly sushi, is also worth celebrating. Whether you’re a sushi purist or love modern, creative twists, the Mile High City offers plenty of delicious options. Here’s a guide to the best sushi restaurants in Denver that will satisfy your cravings for fresh fish, authentic flavors, and exquisite dining experiences.

1. Uchi

Uchi Denver brings a unique blend of traditional Japanese sushi and modern culinary techniques, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers. Part of the award-winning Uchi family, the Denver location offers an elegant, elevated dining experience with bold flavors and inventive sushi combinations. Uchi's omakase (chef’s choice) is one of the best in town. In addition to the quality food, the atmosphere is unmatched with beautiful plays on light and design.

This is one of our favorite Denver restaurants. From sashimi to unique dishes, everything is insanely good. Reservations fill up quick. Show up right before opening to snag a spot at the bar. It’s pricey but you can eat for a lot cheaper during their daily happy hour.
