BAMBOO SUSHI
Neighborhood: LoHi
Recommendations: The Avocado Green Machine is a must! Really all of their Bamboo Crispy Rice Rolls are really good. I also have a weird thing for avocado rolls and theirs is my favorite. Everyone has different taste in sushi but I’ve never had a dish I didn’t enjoy here.

In 2008, Bamboo Sushi became the world’s first certified sustainable sushi restaurant. It quickly made it’s way to the top of my list after they revamped their menu during COVID. The Avocado Green Machine is one of my favorite rolls ever! They previously had a sister restaurant in Avanti with the best poke bowls I’ve ever eaten—I was hooked and ate them weekly. I haven’t tried their Rainbow Bowl on their updated menu but if I had to guess it’s the same as before and doesn’t disappoint! Their back patio is adjacent to Postino and offers city views.
